    This happens to me when I change those awful curly fluorescent light bulbs. The new one makes the others look dim.

    I finally bought a pair of shoes with velcro straps. So far…so good. Haven’t had anything but laces since i was in high school and wore “slap jacks”. Anyone remember those?

    As soon as I got out of college, I went to slip-ons for daily shoes. No regrets.

    I’ve been wearing slip-ons of all kinds pretty much since I was a kid — when “The Man from UNCLE” was on TV, which is where I got the idea. Even my golf shoes are slip-ons. The only shoes I have that aren’t slip-ons are my winter boots — those are side-zips.
