Of course, he wouldn’t want to be the next bride… :P

I was at a wedding where all the bachelors scattered when the garter was tossed. None of us would pick it up.

Too bad for the guys.If you’re fortunate enough to find the right person, marriage is a great thing to have in your life.

34 years and counting. In-laws were at 64 years when she passed away.

50 great years and counting. Just get one that loves you and you her.

At my cousin’s wedding in 1982, she tossed the garter. Nobody made a move, but it ended up beside my foot, so I got it. Only 15 years later, I got married.

Now why would Norm want to be a bride! We are 47 years next month. You have to find someone who is mainly a friend as well as all the rest.

The bouquet nearly bopped Norm on the head. Maybe it’s trying to tell him something. Like he could do worse than Echo. Congrats to all of you who’ve been married so many years, it’ll be 28 years for us come May 19.

Weddings are great places to meet girls. They drink when the normally don’t, they are thinking about what is going to happen for the couple tonight, most of your work is done. If they drink enough, they might even lose your phone number.

Subtle hint there, Norm…

I’m still wondering what happened to Echo’s hair. She has been a blonde since the day she first appeared.

Bouquet and garter worked for (then “just good friends”) Aunt Mary and the future Uncle Vaughn at her ex-roommate’s wedding. Later, when I married my wife Kathy, my cousin Debbie caught the bouquet and her brother Matt the garter. They went on to marry a Jerry and a Cathy.

The thought of those two reproducing…yikes.

53 years here. I can advise you all that the first 50 years are the hardest.

You’d hope they’d figured that out bynow, considering they’ve gone out and been friends for some time. Oh, and by the way, it’s a comic strip, so I think it will work out just fine.
