Good morning, Vagabonds. In a few hours I’ll be in my urologist’s office for a checkup relating to the prostate cancer (since then cured) I had. Then I have a 4 hour stress test with my cardiologist on an empty stomach. This is because I’m severely out of breath when I walk one block. I’ve never had this kind of exam before – I don’t know how I’ll do in it.

Morning, Vagabonds.Well, we got the carpet in and man, does it look nice! I took a walk through the house when they were finished and it was an awesome feeling to see that I actually have a house. I prayed a sincere Thank You to God Almighty. I’ve never owned a house before and now, for the first time in my life I actually own a house. It is an awesome feeling.

Good Morning, Gentlemen and the rest of the Vagabonds,

Arye, glad you are doing something about your symptoms! Better to be informed and do something about it! Good Luck!

Congratulations, David……you really sound so excited! A few more weeks now! Awesome!

Well, this is my last post for a while from the east coast. We fly home this morning, and will arrive around 7:30 p.m. It’s been a wonderful trip. Enjoyed the weather. Met lots of lovely “Southern” folk, and of course, very hard to say “Farewell” to family!

    Good morning Vagabonds.

Safe trip, Rita. Always good to get home after a vacation.

David, I know the feeling. When we bought our first house it was unlike any other feeling in the world. Somehow a sense of accomplishment – which you deserve more than we did, since we bought a new house with no renovations needed. When I think back on all the things you have done to that house, from the roof downward, it makes me tired just thinking about it!

Arye, good luck at your doctors. My husband just went through a stress test and gets his results this afternoon.

Summer weather here. It was over 100 yesterday and didn’t get below 80 last night. I think that’s the only thing I don’t like about the Nevada desert is the high overnight temps. I have lived in the CA desert most of my adult life, and even when the daytime temp was over 100, it got cool enough to open the windows at night. Not here!

Good afternoon to all.Jan, if you like low temps at night you should have been here last night. Area temps were from the 30s to low 40s. Had frost warnings in some locations. Our heat went on this morning. Cool tomorrow then the temps go to the mid 70s for the rest of the week.
