This could be confusing to kids. I knew both sets of my grandparents as Grandpa & Grandma, with their last name attached for differentiation. No confusion.
When my wife found out our daughter-in-law was pregnant, she informed her son in no uncertain terms that we were Grandma and Grandpa. In no way would she be Mom-Mom.
