How many #1 picks by the Lions-everyone a “sure thing”-have turned out to be worthless? I stopped watching the Lions after their third #1 pick lasted less than a year. OTOH, wasn’t Brady a sixth round pick? Haven’t some of the NFLs greatest QBs been picked in the fourth round or later?
