Thankfully many Republicans and some Democrats had the backbone to tell Barry NO!

In 2011, there were over 2.6 million calls to the NICS/Brady Bill instant criminal background check system, with about 14,000 rejections (about 1/3 were false positives), the Federal Government only chose about 80 cases for prosecution and got about 14 convictions. This is how your Federal Government is protecting you? The progressives and the libs want to expand this? How about you fix the system you already have before you try to make it even bloat-ier?

Why is it that when a senator follows the wishes of his constituency, he is accused of having no backbone?

    “Why punish the lawabiding?”

I will accept the fact that you are one of the law-abiding. Now, please tell me how a background check would punish you.

Hey, no guns, no problems! Just like with drugs.

You didn’t think the thumbsuckers would stop at ‘expanded background checks’ with loopholes Obama could drive a truck through, did you?

Forward, to confiscation. I do not trust this government.

most americans only read the second amendment to the point that it says " right to bear arms" as i read it in order to have that right one must belong to a " well regulated militia". I think that maybe the ACLU should institute a lawsuit to clearly define the second amendment and who it covers.
