    Sounds like my biscuits? Whenever I make biscuits my wife paints them black(some are already) and sells them to the hockey team in Charlotte.

    Meaningful Monday Hugs ((((((( CAPPERS ! )))))))I swear I see some of my tulips and daffadils starting to poke their heads up in my flower beds that run along the pathway. Got the daisies divided yesterday among the two front flower beds. Lined them with peonies and marigolds. Cant wait for the collismus, snap dragons etc. Sunflowers went in the back bads also with some of the divided daisies. (Daisies will triple or more during a summer here, so that if you keep up with the deadheading you will have daisies blooming all summer and you can move parts of the plants to a bare spot without hurting the daisy at all) Uncovered the roses, did some trimming of trees and bushes, did the miracle feed. AND I STILL WANT TO PLANT SOME MORE STUFF! Too early for the veggie garden yet as we are to get cold again later this week. But, boy! Do I have me some spring fever!!

    " swear I see some of my tulips and daffadils starting to poke their heads up in my flower beds that run along the pathway." ……etc……

    I have some flower plants along the foundation and sunflowers that grow at the front by the parking area. Your display sounds pretty fancy. Any chance you can come and embellish mine ?

    They haven’t been started yet…… but soon.

    @Number SixI liked both of your versions! I knew Felix, of course (but was never much of a fan of his). It was interesting to find out who Korky the Cat is. Of course, I’m much more of a dog person. I remember you snuck Muttley (of Dick Dastardly fame) into one of your cartoons. Somehow I can’t picture him giving any blood……..

    Speaking of dogs, does anybody remember an old animated cartoon with a dog and a cat playing poker? When the cat loses he has to pay a forfeit of some kind. “Not the birdbath! Not William Tell! Not roll out the barrel!”

    The Mechanical Dalek Wizard (who gardens!) says"

    .Vampire cats and dogs

    .Number Six said, about 1 pint of red to leave

    @Number Six

    …I wasn’t happy with my original artwork either!

    Great Felix though !   I watched him as a kid in the middle ’60s and then again when they made new ones in the ’90s..

    .@rekamI get horse manure that has been digesting in a pile at a local boarding operation. Dale, who runs it, told Joe and I that some places pay up to $10,000 a year to have it hauled out. He has a sign that says simply, “Free Compost”. We picked up 3 cu. yards of the stuff in the trailer and what the pickup bed would carry. If you can get horse “dumplings” preferably in some stage of digestion, use generously. Joe grew up on a farm and says you don’t have to worry about it being too hot, like cow, pig or chicken manure as it is mostly fiber. We lay it on generously and haven’t had any problem with burning plants. Stir it in well. I also use dripper lines with timers. I aint no gardening expert but I can raise sunflowers and some other stuff okay, as well as tomatoes and veggies.

    I’m sure You’re not the only One. i just wish everyone had the right to express Their Opinion as did You. Where something as unabashedly morally corrupt as goatcomics gets-off censoring People is beyond mi.

    @ Linda DeanTo get kegs you have to plant kegs. You wouldn’t expect to get tomatoes by planting potatoes, would you?

    A great advantage horse manure has as fertiliser over ammonium nitrate is that it will not explode.

    @Bruno ZeigertsOh, yeah, I remember “Not Happy Birthday”, too. It seems like there was a bird in those cartoons besides the cat and the dog? I can’t quite remember. It’s been years since I’ve seen any of them.

    And HI LINDA! How are you doing? I just couldn’t resist the above comment. You either HATE OR LOVE ROLLING ROCK. If you can’t afford a GOOD beer, you like Rolling Rock, so it seems!
