A fine morning to you Jan, along with the rest of the Vagabonds.Hoping everybody came through the weather the last couple of days in good shape. I know it’s been pretty fierce at times.
Good morning Jan and Slim and all other Vagabonds.Still raining up until Sat. morning, good Sun. then thunder storms for Mon. No water shortage or ban right now. Surprisingly, other than going to the gym, I don’t have to go any place tomorrow.
Good morning, vagabonds. There was an unusual amount of patients ahead of me. My peak flow breathing is only 1/3 the normal rate – I have a referral for the pulmanologist.(sp?)
Arye, I wish you all the best with your pulmonologist (I don’t know how to spell it either). Hopefully he will be able to ease your shortness of breath somewhat. I will pray for you.
All right, people. It’s only ten days until David’s retirement party. We need some organization and commitments to the pot luck. Luckily we have this beautiful dining room here at Vagabond Village. So let’s get cracking. I already said I would bring some deviled eggs. Who’s up for their favorite recipes?
Movie trivia: We watched a 1952 classic the other day. Clifton Webb, Myrna Loy and Jeanne Crain. An efficiency expert and his family. (Personally I loved the car – nicknamed “Foolish Carriage”) Then the next day, I watched the sequel. No Clifton Webb, but add Jeffrey Hunter.
HAPPY FLAG DAY to all the village vagabonds, also happens to be my B-Day. Last nite at our Thurs. card gameget together I was warmly celebrated with cake, funny B-daycards and wine, beer & snacks, lost $1.50 but had a greattime- another year in the bucket, but hey, it’s just a number:-)
@JanCinLV That movie was “Cheaper by the Dozen” and, yes, it was based on a true story about an efficiency expert and his family which he used in his time studies.
@SWEETBILL HAPPY BIRTHDAY! May you have many more of them.
Crazy day here. Was supposed to have rained all day but its been sunny most of the morning. Can’t do any yard work as the ground is too wet. Can’t win for trying
