Engineers designed the Titanic without sufficient imagination. The ark was imaginery.

I had a boring World History teacher in high school. One day in my bookkeeping class, this teacher came in and talked with the other. Then he noticed me. After conferring with my bookkeeping teacher, he came over to me and asked me why I did better in this class than in his. I could only say I didn’t know. I didn’t really want to tell him that he was boring. I suppose if I had the gumption I have now, I would have said something like he didn’t really make the subject interesting to keep my attention as I do like history. I did surprise a teacher once in geography, but it was a surprise to me as well. I was out of school with the flu for the first time for 3 days. The day I came back, there was a test. The teacher said I didn’t have to take it since I wasn’t there for the lessons. I said I would take it anyway. The next day, he handed back the tests and I had gotten 75%. Couldn’t believe it.

Titanic was state of the art for 1912, the Captain was the moron who ran high speed in an ice pack and ignored radio warnings.
