My cat practices “sit in something nearly-empty therapy” on me. When I come home upset or angry from work, the cat will nuzzle up to me then head over to the fabric-covered box where I keep the magazines. She will then make a spectacular leap (for an 18 year old cat, at least), hunker down in the box for a moment, then just poke her ears and eyes above the rim. Never fails to put me in a good mood, and she has been doing this for years. When I was moving and had tons of boxes in the living room, she (and I) were in heavenly bliss.

Now Ted can hang himself from a cliff approximately 17 miles and 6 or 7 feet high.
