    Yes. Sexual predators need to be tried in CIVILIAN courts where their officers can’t just over-rule the juries and let them off scot-free. Senator Claire McCaskill made a good call on that one.

    the UCMJ has never been about “justice”. It also goes back a long way to the division between enlisted, and the “officer corps” of privilege.

    Interesting that yesterday’s cartoon on guns got 58 comments and this one only 3 (as of this writing). Maybe more would be done about the problem if more of us paid attention to it.

    Because rape has been epidemic, and the guy put in charge of trying to solve it is part of the problem.

    It is a shame that the majority of service members that protect our country have to be labeled like this. Those that act and behave like this should be punished, end of story. No means No and if you go past that point of no return, then no matter what your rank is, you deserve to be punished to the full extent of the law. Depicting all soldiers as rapists is like depicting all soldiers as baby killers like they were called in the Vietnam War. Also that would make all Politicians liars and cheaters on their wives.
