He shown with pants because he’s wearing shoes. I believe that’s the case whenever he’s drawn with pants. Wearing shoes with no pants would truly be gross.

I’m glad it’s not just me that like to see him in pants. He just looks more guy that way. And to me the strip (which I like) seems better seeing him in pants. Like it fits the scenes better. I know it’s a cultural thing, but how many men do you know in America that wear a dress (or whatever it is) like Zig…I mean really?
