BTW, why should ANY political organization be granted tax exempt status?

The most patriotic Americans do not die for their Country they pay their fair and legal taxes to support soldiers and everything else the “government of the people” does to make America great. Only Monaco and Luxembourg have no income taxes and look at their place among nations, LOL

Where are the crosshairs? Some groups do require targeting. Anyone who disagrees must be a member of one of these groups. Incidentally, nothing says that any action was taken or not taken because of the TEA PARTY affiliations. Why complain?

The IRS is a dangerous organization when it is used for political purposes to punish enemies of whoever is in power at the time, and has ruined many lives with their bullying tactics.

so, they are upset because they were requesting tax exempt status for their organization. superpac. how are anti-tax, anti-spending groups qualify as social welfare organization?

I wonder how many Democrats realize how their tactics bring a certain name to mind; Richard Nixon.

I don’t see anyone objecting when terrorist groups are targeted, or when criminals are targeted. 501© status is (or was, before the Supreme Ct.‘s Citizens United decision) was supposed to be for charities, who WEREN’T SUPPOSED TO POLITIC. The designation is a privilege, not a right.
