Val: You and Kaytlyn have been friends since PRESCHOOL! Why would you be MEAN to her?! Holly: Some girls were making fun of her outfit and I just...kinda...joined in. Holly: I didn't think she'd HEAR about it! I thought it was just between our GROUP. Val: A bunch of girls were texting and you thought it would stay PRIVATE? Holly: Well, yeah. Val: FAMILY MEETING, RIGHT NOW!!

Hopefully she’ll learn her lesson now, before she starts taking inappropriate pictures of herself “for her boyfriend”, only to find that everyone in her school (and the world) has seen them…

Glad to see this subject being dealt with. As bad as things could be when I was in school in the 60’s and 70’s at least we didn’t have to worry about cyerbullying, sexting, etc..

Definitely time for a family meeting and Holly should be grounded for doing something so stupid as bullying.

My Aspie grandson, who was the butt of much bullying and teasing, found himself in a group of boys who were teasing a developmentally-delayed classmate. He enthusiastically joined in the teasing himself, was found out, and was given a good talking to. Now that he’s in 11th grade, I don’t think he’d do that now. But peer pressure can be a powerful thing.

Apparently Holly thought it was “all right” as long as Kaytlyn didn’t know about it.
BTW, the Irish “Caitlin” is pronounced “Kathleen”.

I can TOTALLY associate with Hollys’ situation here. I got in trouble and lost my job thinkin’ that writing something was better than coming out and saying it. Let’s just say I was so wrong!

You stupid, mean little emptyheaded girl.

wow Ghostkeeper, rather harsh and inappropriate (not to say illegal). While I don’t condone Holly’s behaviour in any way shape or form, physical assault will only make matters worst for both girls. Holly needs to make amends to K. and the other girls in the circle of bullying before this gets overblown.
