Reminds me of two “Garfield” strips: one where Garfield and Jon leave and Odie watches “Masterpiece Theater” and reads “War and Peace.” In another, Jon says to Garfield and Odie that he’ll be out of the house for a second. Upon return, the once casual house is in disarray.
Sometimes cats really try to tell us something. My cat was gone almost 2 weeks 1 winter. Then I saw my neighbor go open his garage, which he hadn’t done for a while. A short time later the cat showed up, and after he finished eating and drinking, he kept us awake Meowing, mewing, murarring and said everything in his vocabulary telling us ALL about it.!
