Well, if the press did a better job, you’d know that the IRS didn’t “target conservative opinion” but simply had a couple of low level people use a search term that, by golly, helped them get hold of some potentially invalid applications in a hurry. It would be like using “Bok” to search for mindless, knee-jerk drawings of paranoid fantasies — the fact that the mindless paranoid fantasies were from the right wing of the lunatic fringe would be a coincidence, though a rather likely outcome.
