Your points are well taken. And you have a very good reason to believe that incorrectly-recorded information can hurt you badly in the long run. I myself had a friend tell me that my graduate school listed me as being deceased. This did not ruin my life (no pun intended), but it is a decent illustration of your point.
I heard that “The Week” ran a column this week on 5 ways Snowden’s story doesn’t hold water. Don’t know where they got their sources, but when he says he’s willing to let the Hong Kong courts and people decide his fate", it sounds like he’s unraveling, and may have been unraveled from the start. And if this guy was an analyst, why did he think China was the place to go Harley: Your first post made me laugh. I used to laugh with Mallard Fillmore when our local paper carried that strip. A good friend of mine and I agree, that you don’t have to like the politics to find the point of view funny.
