“But Dad was heavier (for his size) in his younger days. Junk food was not as prevalent as today. But the concept is very true, ie: all those genetic pre-sets you never dreamed you’d share.”~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Well said. “The Horsenbuggy Theory” I calls it.. How many calories did one expend “going to town for groceries” hookingup a buggy with all the traces, etc on a horse, getting to town, buying the basics at the general store versus turning an ignition key on 285 horses to bring home 17 bags of stuff that was grown/processed in 14 different countries?? I remember Victory Gardens and “Beets Beat Berlin”But now, I hear a knocking at the door.. Hereabouts, Tony’s Pizza delivers. Rather quickly, too, I might add. I’m a heavy (and getting heavier) tipper.
