Phantom: So being in a war is an adventure? I think it is a little more than that. What does he tell his wife? “I’m going to hop around the world and find something exciting to do.”Rex Morgan: Talk about pumping up the “Princess’s” ego by saying you deserve everything. Let’s move on as we have spent too much time on this story.Mark Trail: Do you think Fred will suddenly remember why the name of Trail sounds familiar? And how many work at that lodge? We have only seen two people.Mary Worth: Does Mary sound like she has no self confidence to do Yoga? I thought that she was able to do any and everything.

APT3G: When the governor says he will take LuAnn home, does he mean to her home or his?

APT3G: I agree with Woodworker: Too much time has been sent with this story. Let’s see how Uncle Miltie is doing.

CURTIS: Poor Curtis will be in trouble for something that isn’t his fault and his mom will be on the bad list from the ladies in her church.

PHANTOM: So I guess that would be our Kit Walker’s grandmother (with Kit’s father in tow). This has certainly been ah unusual story…when will we have some follow-up with the 707 pilot Ted West (we last saw him in his NYC condo)? …not to mention the cameo appearance by West’s condo neighbor, Lee Falk. How is this all going to tie together? I mention Mr. Falk as I am predicting he will make another brief appearance as this story arc concludes. JUDGE PARKER: This secret-agent business shouldn’t be a surprise to Randy. I have heard that when someone with top secret security clearance marries, the Spouse-To-Be has to go through security clearance as well (if the STB doesn’t pass muster, then the agent would have to choose between the job and the marriage). Or something like that. MARY WORTH: Yoga has many levels. This looks like it will be “yoga light”… no Crane, Peacock or Firefly Poses!

Judge Parker – Okay. After a brief interesting interlude yesterday, the conversation returns to boring today.Mandrake – No-one answered my question yesterday. Does anyone know if this is the original artwork or not? And is this the first story arc of the Mandrake comic strip?Phantom – Why was Phantom 19 fighting in a war in the first place? This story is not making sense to me.

MARY WORTH: lol @ Florchi! I teach yoga at my YMCA, both a “gentle” yoga for members in Mary’s age group and an all-levels class. I’ve been practicing since 2009 and I’m not sure I could do the 3 difficult poses (asanas) you mentioned

Phantom – I agree this doesn’t make sense. You can’t just don a uniform at will and then leave when you want to. A comment was made about an ancestor being involved in something in 1864 (our Civil War?) Will they also show a Phantom in WWII? But that wouldn’t tie in to the aeronaut part of the story.A3G – @Arye, that was my question too. But LuAnn is so clueless! I forget how the movie date turned out.Mary Worth – I think Mary has lost weight already.

David, if you compare the artwork to the classic strip running at DailyInk.com, it is completely different. So, most likely this is re-running an early strip from Fred Fredericks as opposed to Lee Falk or Phil Davis. It appears to be Fredericks style, just a bit more refined than his work is these days.
