Good morning, Vagabonds. I was looking forward to going to last night’s Bukharian concert – I had it marked on my calendar for weeks. It rained and I called the concert organizer who told me it was still on even though it was in a park and the ground was wet. We were told to bring a blanket or a chair. I was planning on bringing my rollator since it’s hard for me to get up from a blanket with my artificial hip. At the last minute I decided not to go. Taking my rollator down the subway step; changing subways in Manhattan even with and ekevator and then taking a bus in Queens would have been too much for me and then dealing with wet grass. Right after that I went into “nap mode,” which meant I had no energy.

PS The fact that I went to sleep after reading Midnight’s AzCentral comics and didn’t wake up an hour later to read GoComics until this morning, shows how tired I was.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Rita, the spa will hold 6 adults, so you are all welcome, albeit in shifts.

Like David, I don’t have much planned for today.

    Good Morning, Vagabonds,

Yesterday marked the 51st year of the day My Mountain Man and I met!!!!! And, the 50th year of the day he proposed. Woo Hoo! We sat around the campfire last night reminiscing……………(sigh)! One of the topics was what one thing in life came around that was most significant? And we both agreed it would be the landing on the moon. We both had jobs in the aerospace industry, and MMM’s contribution were the designing of the attitude rockets that controlled the lander, and the rocket that blasted them off from the moon. At that time, I was just a secretary in the purchasing department, so my contribution was a little more minute.
