I’m so glad to see that Wally is OK. Holly looked happy to see him but I’m so surprized she is running away. Maybe she feels too dirty, physically or maybe she feels dirty inside for anger she didn’t know she could feel. If they are still in love they will overcome this,, I sure hope so!

Now is the time he needs to hold her close and she needs to be held. Can’t do it if she outruns you Wally. She outran you once in fun, this is for personal embarrassment, and humanity. She sees herself as bad. Why didn’t Marge not offer support in that torture .Blessed Be

Extraordinarily good artistry in Holly’s face in panel 3. Kudos, Mr Neathery.And there is the echo of that beautiful cat and mouse chase when they first met. This is what I call sumptuous story telling.

I think she was told terrible things about Wally or about herself ,, told her he was out dating other women, or that he was the one that ratted her out, or something.

This is when people need to stop predicting and just watch the story unfold.

Wabbit, you think that is a look of happiness on Holly’s face as she sees Wally? Oh dear, that is a very odd look of happiness. I was thinking it more akin to fear

Was Holly part of the conspiracy gone wrong?

She’s not running home. She’s running to the clock tower. Wally won’t find her. Linda will. It will be Linda’s turn to talk.

She may have been telling herself that Wally was coming to get her, and lost faith in him when he didn’t.

I think Jenner probably has it right. This is an echo back to their first chase. This time Wally will chase and catch her again only to remind her that she’s not alone. Kind of returning the favor.

Doesn’t she know that wally will catch up to her? Like the last time?

Now it’s Wally’s turn to help Holly.

This weekend my man had to drive over an hour in the pouring rain late at night to fix my flat tire (I had everything done except I couldn’t get the flat off, it was stuck to the rim. It took him 30 seconds to finish it). I was mortified that he would be mad at me for being a “girl”, but he was gracious and chivalrous and was so pleased to be there for me.Holly, trust your man.

This strip brought tears to my eyes, folks.

An update on Aaron Neathery. Aaron moved living spaces recently, and he’s now in a place where there’s no internet service yet. He’s uploading files here via his mobile phone, and the mobile link is apparently causing him to lose some emails (if you sent an email to him and he hasn’t replied, that may be the reason). He’s planning on having artwork available for auction this week, if the phone allows him to upload it, with the money going to obtaining a new ISP. More news as it happens.

As I recall there were two chases. The first one was in fun and I think Holly let him catch her to see what would happen. The second was when Wally was starting to think about joining Flask’s mission, Holly was terrified of losing Wally and ran home. He couldn’t catch her then. Now she’s running a third time, there may be a chase, will Wally catch her now?

Dangerous time. Hope she does not do something rash. She always saw goodness in Endtown and folks. Now she was experienced a more evil side of it all. Her “faith” is shattered. The recovery will have to come from inside her.Maybe its good she is running. Run it out of you, just run till you drop then get up and run more. Good luck Holly.

Y’all did notice she didn’t yell at Wally to stay away from her. She just ran. Maybe she was spooked and her mousey side kicked in out of instinct. Just a thought

That should tell you something about their relationship. Who gives and who takes. She gives all, what has he done for her??Is the house fixed, couch back inside, window fixed, place cleaned up, dishes replaced?? Really look at their relationship. What has he given her. She works he plays ball with his buddies. Hmmmm?It may be true love but how much respect and responsibility is shown by Wally. From what I have read he has her around but will only do something if FORCED to do it. This will be a trying time in their relationship. Sure he went up there in a futile rescue attempt and got his ass kicked as usual so he did he go home to fixed up the place, and wait. Or sit on his butt moping away about how lonely HE is? Expect her to run and run hard like she has never ran before. She is not running away from Love but a purely ME time. She is in no mood to share or be held. Too draining.It is a dangerous time for her. I’ve been there its not a pleasant experience. I do hope she makes it.

It will be interesting to see if I guessed right. If I am, Wally probably won’t find her. It’s a place that only she (and now Linda) knows.

I do hope Wally did tidy up the house. Maybe if he can’t catch or find her that will spur him on in hope to do that. I can just Feel the Wind in Hollie’s hair, the way veteran is seeing her cathartic run and getting a little fredom-loving runners high that will help her get out some of the bad stuff troubling her head.
