Just saying what, I wonder? Even if Ms. Clinton did intend to mislead with her statement (which I doubt!) would it really be an indication of some serious moral turpitude? Compare that possibility with the certainty that “W” and the unspeakable Cheney deliberately and repeatedly lied in order to inveigle the U.S. into a disastrous and immoral war in the Middle East. I suppose, when your souls are as blackened as those of most Republicans, you’ll seize on any pretext to claim the moral high ground. But wouldn’t it be simpler and more effective instead to adopt a genuine moral code rather than drape yourselves in a threadbare counterfeit?
Dear Dycel: I must disagree with you that things are this bad on two points. If I understand your reference to “faux noise outlets” as being to what we used to call news broadcasts, you are mistaken: that is real noise, not fake. What it’s not is journalism. Real noise, faux journalism. Second, it’s not lying. “Lying” according to Macmillan’s dictionary is a deliberate deviation from the truth. That bunch may cross over, trip on, pass by, lumber under the truth in creating their noise. But they never recognize it and therefore cannot deliberately deviate from it. Ergo, no lying. I hope that makes you feel better.
Danziger must be aware of the fact that Hillary took a Far Left turn from her parents’ GOP leanings, in High School, when Saul Alinsky recruited her. In Wellesley College her senior thesis was an analysis of Alinsky’s methods, and she has obviously practiced his 1971 “Rules For Radicals” ever since.
-I couldn’t approve of Hillary in any elected position, she proved her ineptness with her secretly constructed “healthcare plan” and proved her untrustworthiness by Enabling Bill to survive his philandering by destroying several of his victims and her deadly lack of providing security for Benghazi and other US stations in the broiling and violent Mideast as Sec. of State. Hillary is a proven negative for another try for election to president.
I know precisely what the word means, although you obviously don’t. The lies and phony intelligence promoted by the Bush administration were intended to deceive not just the American public, but Congress as well, so the bloody fools would support the invasion of Iraq too. Do you know anything, anything at all, besides the garbage pseudohistory that’s fed to you by Faux News and the other right wing mouthpieces? Do you know about Cheney’s unprecedented and repeated trips to the CIA and other intelligence branches, forcing them to cook the reports they submitted to Congress – lies that elicited the votes you find so impressive? Such ignorance and naivete would be pitiable, if it weren’t simultaneously so disastrous for our country’s future.
@Genome…..there is uncertainty that Hillary can even be nominated by the Party primaries.-Should she be nominated, and be elected, it will prove only that the masses of indoctrinated and brainwashed men and women who were “educated” by the Leftist Liberals have proved the Bible prophecies correct that the wicked scoffers of God and the Bible principles have had serious brain damage so that “good” is “evil” and common sense has been seared with a hot iron in an evil generation of Adam’s race.
Now that’s scare’s the hell out of me, the reason being is that we have enough stupid people in the U.S. to get her elected."
I doubt she’ll run. However, I’m pretty sure she would win against any of the kind of candidates the GOP has run lately.
So, if you have any influence at all, try to find a viable candidate for the GOP ticket. I see no sign of any such intention out there, but it would sure be a help.
“… you get too many takers and soon you have less and less ‘givers’. "
See, clearly you are thinking things through, but if you use bad data to draw your conclusions … well, you haven’t gained much.
The takers are the CEOs, the bankers, the ‘power structure’. They produce nothing but paper, and loopholes which let them steal at will from clients, depositors, and anyone else within reach.
Worse yet, they are using the laws and regulations to do it.
They are the takers. The rest of us are just scrambling to keep our heads above water.
Not sure who put out the Hillary button, but I believe her when she said she’s sick and tired of politics and wants to spend the rest of her golden years on the beach with a nice vodka Collins. Just say’n…

Once again, ominous fiction presages an even more unthinkably ominous future.

I will be utterly astounded if Hillary runs.
At least she’s sort of a known quantity. What scares me is: who will the parties nominate, and just how disastrous will they be?
