    The sad part is we pay these worthless sacks about five times what we’re making. Then, when they or a President leaves office, it is somehow our responsibillity to keep them wealthy for the rest of their lives.

    Seems to me it’s the GOP who commits the offenses, and the Dems who sweep them under the rug.

    That is to say, they are working together. Neither of them appears to have the good of the country much less its population on their priority list. It’s a ‘good cop/bad cop’ routine; the GOP offends people, the Dems make nice, change the subject, situation stands. Next scandal .. er, issue please!

    Everything that’s wrong is ‘the people’s fault.’ The environment is a mess? Quit littering. Need health care? Should have looked after your health. Want a job? Find one. Don’t like the wages, or can’t live on them? You must be a poor manager and greedy to boot.

    Two parties, one policy.

    “The only good members are those with conservative values unwilling to tow the Republican party line of socialist lite.”

    I know this is trivial, but the phrase is “toe the line.”
