Good morning, Vagabonds. I still have my cold but I don’t feel so weak. Yesterday I attended my synagogue’s Simchat Torah (in Hebrew, Happiness of the receiving the Torah) and we danced with some people holding the Torah scrolls seven times. The scrolls are heavy and I did not want to take a chance dancing while holding a Torah scroll.
Morning, Vagabonds. Probably take the girls to Trade Days today. It’s a monthly event in a nearby town where venders rent booths and sell homemade items, antiques, crafts, junk, etc.

I’ve now spent about 4 1/2 hours learning how to play and deal Texas Hold ‘Em poker. So far it has been fun and very interesting. Thursdays are “tournament” days, so I learned quite a bit about how dealing a tournament is different from dealing a regular game. There’s a lot to learn, and they assure me that I will stop feeling so overwhelmed in a week or so.
Great time at cards yesterday afternoon outside- 70’sWon two pots- got so I felt bad about it- that’s like 4 or five this season. Pizza was delivered and we all chatted and said our good bye’s for the season- in the next couple of weeks we’ll be heading South to FL. (5) , GA. (3) & Calf. (1)

Great weather here. Yesterday only got up to about 75 and the overnight lows necessitated the use of a blanket for the first time since March.
