The dog days of summer are named after the helical rising of Sirius, the dog star <- my entry for the “most boring comment” contest.

Hey just because Rover wants to be a “Lap Dog” is no reason to get snippy, Red!

I’m with you, Jo Clear…impatiently awaiting a little autumn haze, and my favorite time of year, Halloween! Can’t handle the hot temps anymore.

This morning I dreamed it was Easter and the stores were full of Easter candy.

I sometimes wonder if Mr. Brian B. does these things on purpose.

Well sure he does. That is the point of a currently written comic!

Summer, my favorite time of the year. Days are longer which means more fun for the dogs at the shelter where I volunteer. We have a Duck Tolling Retriever named Sara who just loves playing in her kiddie pool. Summer means that she has more day time to do just that.

“my 100-lb. baby of a blue doberman…” My Irish Setter weighs only 54 lbs., but feels like a 100-lb. dead weight when she tries to be a lap dog…I can’t imagine what it must feel like to have her on your lap! ;)
