They probably did leave better lives than the average person, however, their point is a valid one. Maybe they felt overly taxed? I certainly do. Just what makes them hypocrites? Because you disagree with them?

Y’know, all you guys are convincing me here is that there are some serious problems in society, and it’s not just limited to politics and insurance companies…

Sorry, I missed the experience, but several people I know and trust didn’t and they didn’t think it was so great. I have lived under both capitalism and socialism, and if those are my only two choices, I would have to choose democratic socialism. A healthy citizenry is considered to be in the national interest, and fewer people die of neglect because the rich demand more. Then too, it might raise the quality of discussion if you would actually find out what communism, socialism, conservatism, etc. really are instead of being a ditto head.
