Much more appropriate to have drawn “W”.

Some small minds must have come up with this idea.

Somehow I don’t feel that Obama is the real issue here. The real issue is war or peace. I didn’t particularly like the way Obama has handled the whole situation, but as of now, I am pleased that the US is not going to strike in Syria. Exactly how that happened, who gets praise or blame, seems less important.+The war in Syria is terrible. I don’t believe, however, that the US should intervene. I really think US intervention would only make things worse, for pretty much everyone. I wish there were some kind of solution, but I don’t see one, and I don’t see a lot of good suggestions out there. Some people say that there has to be a negotiated settlement. That would be good. Of course Russia has to be involved in that, and just maybe there is a little more chance of that now.+I certainly oppose the use of chemical weapons, and I’m not persuaded by the argument that they are no big deal because you can kill 100,000 people without them. They are a big deal. But I don’t think a military strike would have been the proper response. I think Obama should have called for something like what’s now being proposed. Well, we got there, maybe, and that’s really the point. Perhaps this was all Obama’s plan from the beginning. (Highly unlikely.) Perhaps Obama was totally outmaneuvered by Putin. (What? Obama got pretty much what he wanted and didn’t have to get his foot stuck in the quicksand.) Perhaps Obama and Putin were both improvising, and managed together to pull out something that may work. (Probably what happened.) I think it’s a mistake to concentrate on the loving or hating particular politicians. The people out there in the world, living and dying, hoping and suffering, those are the people who really matter.

My reference was relative to a number of factors beside the fact that “W” long was giving Narcissus a run for his mirror, ‘er, money. From being raised with a silver spoon, bankrupting the OIL companies his name and family connections got him into, failure and arrogance relative to his early Congressional campaign, more egregiously the only job he loved as Governor of Texas -executing prisoners, and holding the record until “Rickless” Perry came along with an even bigger ego. Then of course there was the small minded arrogance of the war on Afghanistan (not bin Laden) and finally the hundreds of thousands he and Cheney (ego and greed in a remarkable blend) with their friends and “advisors” killed, not to mention some 5,000 of OUR OWN.Then there’s the desertion from the National Guard.

Fool suffering himself, and others defend "w’ no matter what real evidence comes up, for the simple reason they can’t say their true “objection” to Obama, not that he, yes, had to have some “sugar daddies” to help him up with his political career as well, rather their REAL problem is that he’s that “Uppity ‘Nigerian’”! Period.

Simple psychological comparison from “W” to Obama, and you’ve got a lot more to pick from the DSM IV with George Jr than Barack.

Using the Faux/LImbaugh techniques of falsehoods, arrogant stupidity, and misdirection with fraud, Is popular with the radical (and “religious”) right. Facts just frighten them.

Lastly, I’ve often been critical of Obama’s actions on oil leases, giving in to Republican frauds in the ACA, and the handling of Syria, that gave morons the ability to keep reversing THEMSELVES, and blaming him for long-standing federal operational failings, called political appointees left over from the Bush administrations.

I’m sure you are using the term ‘Redneck’ in an endearing way, right?

There are plenty of commentators on both sides of the fence who are offensive and hateful. Regardless of the length of their posts.

I guess you missed my post a couple of days ago in which I said that Putin is interested only in Russia’s national interest and his own self interest. But the way the situation has developed, he seems now to think that his interests will be best served by putting pressure on Assad to make a deal about chemical weapons.
