Exactly right! Now all the righties will pile on to say Bennett’s wrong, and probably, “racist liberal”. Hmmm, where’s the junction with U.S. 127???

I’m not right wing, but I find this hyperbole a bit much. People have been blaming Bush for things for 5 years. Both parties do this.

Got it. That makes more sense. Thanks for the thoughtful reply.

Bruce: Thanks, I was seriously curious because I figured it might well relate to “local mentalities”! Just figured with an odd number, must be headed north to south, as opposed to east-west!

I suspect US 127 in in Chattanooga. I live 2 hours from there and people do blame crazy stuff on Obama. This comic is a common joke in the South.

Tigger: 1. I actually read books, rather than just google everything, and considering the often inaccurate stuff you get with google, find it better, and 2. besides, when I have “experts” like you and Bruce, or trolls like Onguard to fill in the blanks, why bother??

“See, you do not do research before you post your comments which makes you stupid”As opposed to you, who never responds when called on your lies and errors? You just go on to the next thread and repeat them.

“Obama has called the War in Afghanistan both “the Just War” and “the Good War”.

You mean after the War Shrub destablized that region with his puppet gubbermint which allowed Al-Qaeda to exist? I’d agree with that statement (nice of you to disregard who started those conflicts btw)

”Yes, it’s such an old joke it pre-dates Bush. By decades.“

Yeah cuz, you know, Halliburton was getting those no bid contracts since FDR’s time, right?/SARC

”There is no such thing as the Commodities and Futures Act. There IS the Commodities Futures Modernization Act of 2000, signed by Clinton. Clinton also repealed Glass-Steagall, which he say’s he’d do again.“

Yeah, cuz Clinton was president in December of 2000 when he passed it, right? That would have made him the first president to serve a five year term! Imagine that!/SARC You’re confusing Graham/Leech?Blyley (excuse the spelling I’m on a phone) with War Shrub’s plan.

    ”This is Obama’s policy.“

Obama was not president when Bush signed the Foreclosure Tax Relief Bill in December of 2007, which rewarded the lenders with every foreclosure they had in their books. Obama’s bill saved my mother-in-law’s house from foreclosure. Get it right!

    ”Teddy Kennedy’s Bill.“

He co-signed it. The Bush Administration drafted it. Big difference.

”First introduced on a trial basis in 2008, really stepped up production and deployment in 2010, the Obama administration planned to deploy over 1,000 by the end of 2011. Since Obama isn’t responsible for ANYTHING, I can see where you blame this on Bush"

You mean the creation of the TSA (you know, that one big layer of gubbermint created after the 9/11 attacks to keep us safe alleged) was Obama’s doing? And that Obama (not Bush) made a deal with Michael Shirt-off-my-back for these porno scanners long before their implementation? Darn! Obama had a lot of power for a senator, I’ll tell you that much.

“Huh? She was convicted of Insider Trading. Isn’t that a good thing? You know, getting the evil rich? You’re blaming this on Bush?”

Oh, you mean how Bush sent the CEOs of the major trading companies to jail? Oh wait…he didn’t do that. He sent the pencil pushers (accountants) to jail (Aurthur Andersen) while sparing the CEOs. Coincidentially that was also around the same time Congress exempted itself from insider trading (and of course that was the all Republican Congress that passed that law, but hey its all Obama’s fault).

“There was no “cooking the books”. The war expenses were Emergency Appropriations and Continuing Resolutions, the same as Congress uses today. In fact, there hasn’t been a Budget since Obama’s been President, so EVERYTHING is a Special Appropriation or Continuing Resolution. Whether an appropriation is On Budget, a Special Appropriation, or a Continuing Resolution, they are ON THE GOVERNMENT BOOKS. (And to prove it, here are the Government’s books, See page 22.”

Are you calling the late Ted Stevens a liar? Cause he’s the one that exposed the Bush Administration’s manipulation of the books. Speaking of your gubbermint book, you really need to learn how to read your own material. Page 22 outlines gubbermint receipts and expenditures, not the emergency and appropriation funds. Most of the other funds I speak about are on pages 132 and above, though I haven’t had a chance to read them thoroughly. I’ll do so later (expect another reply to this). But as it stands, it was one Republican who exposed another, so take it up with Ted Stevens.

I know age hasn’t been kind to you and like most old folk you tend to let dementia take over. Try taking the meds the nurse gives you at the home you’re living in so you can grasp reality every once in a while. Hang in there pops! We’re rooting for you to get better!

“Because I have a Life and do not hace time…”LOL! You have plenty of time to post lies and errors multiple times on multiple threads every day, but not to respond to corrections and challenges. Yeah, that makes sense.“You must stop watching Fox News”What on earth makes you think I’d watch Fox News???

I was quite correct…I did fear it. And now that fear has been assuaged. No crow involved. And while you wait for d_legendary1, I’ll wait for Tigger…and probably neither of us should hold our breaths. Although Tigger has been actively posting elsewhere instead of replying here, whereas d_legendary1 hasn’t posted since the above…perhaps he gets weekends off?
