Good morning, Vagabonds. Today I plan to go to the national Archives at Bowling Green to find more info on my 3rd cousin, the international arms dealer. The Museum of the American Indian is in the same building, so, if I have time, I may visit there also.

    Good morning Vagabonds.

I think this is the season for my arthritis to flare up. My right wrist has been killing me since Sat. and Sun. my neck and shoulders started acting up also. Last night was not a good night for sleeping. Hopefully it won’t last too long.

Hope you all have a better day.

Morning, Vagabonds. @Jan, thank you for the tipoff about the Pawn Stars episode. I watched it last night and guess what? Everything seemed above board. They described Peggy Eames and had photos of her and the history was presented exactly as I knew it. One of the old newspaper clippings they showed called her, a “new Baby Peggy.” That was what caused the initial confusion I had in regard to the more famous “Baby Peggy” aka Diana Serra Cary.

    Good Morning,

Group meeting today. A guest speaker (a doctor) will be speaking about “Waking up the Mind”. I am assuming it will be nutritional in content. Most of us ladies are in the same boat…………Chemo Brain…………..very bad short term memory. We’ve been focusing on various “exercises” these last few weeks……..kind of like “tricks” to remembering things.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Rita, my husband has been really upset that the memory he relies on in his programming hasn’t been what it should be for the past few years. I heard somewhere that there is a connection between taking “statin” drugs (for high cholesterol) and memory loss, so I told him about it. He has been off the “statin” drug for two weeks now and he says his memory has noticeably improved. I guess the trade-off is needing a different cholesterol medication, and getting him to the doctor to see about it will be a real challenge.
