But when I logged it, it said none of the plans in Texas would cover me because of my pre-existing condition. If they did cover me, they’d cost about $1,000 a month, more than I have. And I’d still have about $10,000 deductible. Since I can’t afford to pay the $10,000 deductible, the ACA would provide me no benefits.Sorry, Mike. I know Perry has done everything he could to undermine the ACA in Texas, but this does not jive with the facts. The maximum out of pocket costs for the Bronze plan are $6,350 for an individual, $12,700 for families. Insurers may not deny coverage or charge higher premiums to people with pre-existing conditions.I have to guess you did not in fact get this from the healthcare.gov site.
Republicans passed bills to fund the rest of government. Democrats won’t allow it.The only comprehensive spending bill that came out of the house called for delays & defunding of the ACA law. The GOP has offered piecemeal funding, but not a full spending bill. The ACA is already funded, regardless of the current impasse.
Does that include the $67 million for the obamacare slush fund that no one can find?If you read all of my comments, you’d know that this claim is nonsense. The IRS made an accounting error by not properly allocating expenses for existing office space & salaries to ACA implementation. It wasn’t a ‘slush fund’, no money is missing.
The red states are refusing their people to use many of the aspects of the ACA. What they are doing is wrong. Here in kansas they refused to expand medicaid. They will do all they can to make it fail. as usual.
Remember! When (not if) the so called Immigration Reform Bill is passed, There will be 40 million additional “Conditional Citizens” eligible for Obamacare None will pay for it as they will be considered Indigent!, they shortly another 90 million (mostly children and elderly relatives will be brought in and put on the welfare rolls, also eligible for free healthcare! Those numbers come from ICE, not the liberals passing the AMNESTY bill! (While Obama keeps the border open).

Even if that’s true, it doesn’t matter because it’s a LAW at this point.
