    I love Mike’s cartoons; witty and well drawn, but I really really wish that he had not chosen the USMC memorial. That memorial stands for the millions of vets who see the courage and bloody sacrifice made by those Marines and others like them. It is a politically neutral item that should NOT have been used to express the revulsion of many of us at the Republican extremists who are trying to hijack our country. Mike, you goofed in this one; shame.

    okay so i really need help…if anyone could please help me out that would be awesome. first off im not real big on politics and not the brightest when it comes down to it. so..i have to do an essay for my political science class and had to break down a cartoon by mike luckovich and i chose this one. i have some info about it but i need help getting into further detail. such as his point of view, who he addresses and analyze the symbols and images he uses. so if someone could please help me it would be greatly appreciated.
