Most Grown-ups can’t think like a child… which is why some Fail or are having a harder time (by circumstances) than others raising children.

Cereal – might as well buy a sack of kid kibble.

Ah! Memories of the college dorm breakfast: Any pizza that’s not stuck to the lid, and any beer that doesn’t have a cigarette butt in it!

How many times have I looked forward to something leftover in the fridge only to find that my wife fed it to my son.

SO MANY people read the Food Police proclamations and just HAVE to hear and Obey! All the “Good, Healthy Food” in the world will do your child ZERO good if he WON’T Eat it!Pizza is VERY GOOD FOOD – it has cereal (the crust), it has fruits and vegetables (the sauce and some of the toppings) it has Dairy (the cheese), and it has Meat! Yeah, it also has nitrates and nitrites, if you use some of the more outrageous toppings (I’m thinking pepperoni and some of the sausages here, not to mention anchovies – but I did, so there) – but hey, these are the miracles of modern chemistry.Don’t overdo it, and any kid that can chew it can deal with it…But NO SODAS yet!

Definitely, cold pizza(especially if it is homemade from scratch)for breakfast ! ! ! Aggravates the daylights out my wife when our daughters and I had ‘cold pizza’ for breakfast the morning after one of our ‘pizza bashes’ with friends the night before.

: ) My hubby loves to set aside a decent portion of pizza for leftovers. Next morning, he microwaves it and puts a couple of fried eggs on top – one of his favorite breakfasts! (And his Mom would have a cow if she saw that.)

If you didn’t label it and put it into a lockable box, it’s not yours.

No Constitutional Amendment that one must have cereal for breakfast. Unless it’s homemade oatmeal (as opposed to instant) the only nutrition in most cereal is the milk you pour on it.

Last nights chili over toast with eggs, yesterdays beef stew over rice or hash browns… chased with cold beer on the weekends. It’s all good stuff, Maynard!

And yet, with all the above concoctions used and abused in this lifetime, I’m still here.. (tsk)
