That is what kids really talk about. Now I wish I had the italics font

Ten short years? What kid ever said something like that. At that age one year is like ten. I don’t know a lot of young kids, but they think credit cards are more like magic than danger.

Never mind the Credit Cards, it’s the College Student Loans that will destroy their Budgets for DECADES!

The school just doesn’t want to get sued because of an ACCIDENT. If you get hurt or injured, no matter how minor or even if it’s your fault, SUE Somebody.

No, let him believe that. I’m fine with him not reproducing… :-)

I let my daughter play a racing video game. I’m never going to let her drive.

Wait until you can get a gun! Depending on the state you live in, you may be old enough now!

Fiskars brand children’s scissors are as sharp as the full-size version, just without the pointed tips.

I still think there should be a program for planned parenthood that allows people considering children to first rent a kid for a week with no external help from others in money, upkeep, or parenting skills… this organization would be called RAK’em, for Rent-a-Kid! At’ll learn ’em!

uuhhh, yeah, I’m labled a “lib” more often than not by people like you and other than the bad advise of avoiding all credit (needed for travel this day and age) and pay off your lowest debt first (bad idea if it’s rate is very low and you have high rates of debt that you could save a lot more money to pay off first, but I understand his point of getting people to feel good about paying down any debt sooner) I tend to agree with Dave Ramsey in general. Oh, and the ONLY debt we have at the moment is, well about $150 on the gas rewards card that I pay off monthly. I’ve paid back my parents (my hubby was a free ride thanks to scholarships) for college, credit cards are paid off monthly, car was bought used with cash, and we rent ATM. .But when hubby was weeks away from loosing his job 2 years ago we would have been in a world of hurt if not for the ability to use revolving credit to help us pay for moving across country for a new job (that pays 20K more a year in a lower cost of living area, hence our ability to pay that card off again quickly.).Saying all debt is ba is like saying, “all ____ are bad.” be that guns, video games, or what ever else. It’s all in how you use it but using responsibly doens’t happen when we act like there’s no way our children could learn to handle pointy objects/debt/their emotions or anything else for that matter!
