I haven’t used an alarm clock since my first child was born == 26 years ago now.
Always beat the sun up. That way it won’t shine in your eyes.
Oh but the sun shining on your closed eyelids feels so warm and nice. Especially on a lazy afternoon while you’re laying on the sofa.
