Good morning Vagabonds..Happy New Year everybody..I was here at about 12:02 am, the last comment from yesterday..My personal new year is tomorrow, I will be 61 headed to 62 in to big a hurry to for my own comfort..Well, have fun..ttfn
We got home around 4 p.m. yesterday safe & sound. Hurray! Cleaned out all the suitcases & put everything away. Started the lllloooonnnngggg task of laundry this a.m. MMM does his & I do mine. :))
Happy Birthday, Mark! Going to do anything special?
2014 brings us many good things…….our older daughter’s wedding in April, our younger daughter’s wedding in July, and our 50th Anniversary in August. Whew!
To all the wonderful Vagabond Family, I wish you a Blessed and Wonderful 2014.
We watched the ball drop on TV and then started to watch an old program about the start of musicals in the movies and those made by MGM. It was good seeing all the old stars we grew up with. The only problem was I fell asleep part way through. It was still playing when I woke up but I went to bed then. That was our exciting evening.
Will take it easy today and await the storm that is coming tomorrow and Fri.
Peace to all and again dkram, Happy Birthday to you. Age is only a number, it’s your body that tells you how old you are.
The best and most blessed of new years to all of my Vagabond friends. I am grateful for your companionship every day.
Rita, welcome home. I’m glad you are feeling better and that you had a safe trip. I’m with you, I try to get all the unpacking done right away so I don’t have it to look forward to. All the best for your upcoming big year of celebrations.
Mark, Happy birthday. You still have a year and 9 months exactly to go to catch up to me.
We bought a new “Super Scrabble” game for each other for Christmas and played it yesterday afternoon. It has almost twice the number of tiles and a much bigger board. It even has quadruple letter & word squares. Michael trounced me but good!
We spent the late hours at our local casino and had a good time. Like Gunther in today’s Luanne, we pooped out about 12:30 and came home to crash.

Good morning, Vagabonds and a happy new year. I stayed home (although I heard fireworks outside) and watched the ball drop on TV.
