I am quite certain Ray & Bonnie have not yet met their demise- they are far too valuable as pawns to get the real prize- Dick Tracy.

It looks like all three detectives are racing into action. As for Bonnie, it appears that they assumed she was asleep in her room until now.

Yep, when Tracy jumps, they ALL jump. What a terrific team.

Poor Bonnie Braids! She has only been in town a week and already a victim of kidnapping. She may want to reconsider staying around after this.

Tracy, with Sam and Lizz backing him, is on the case! This is where Abner’s plan begins to unravel, as he wasn’t expecting an immediate reaction and search by MCU. Now, how will Tracy track down Kadaver and rescue (?) Ray and Bonnie?

He’s pulling on his suit jacket in the first panel – you can see his hat and coat (and Sam’s) on hangers on the wall behind him.

Good catch! Had the colorist not decided to put in his two cents worth, it all would have been in order. Had they stayed with the black & white, which I prefer, the logistics would have been fine. (IMHO)

They had better keep an eye on Liz! Last time, at the Wheaton Farm, she totally disappeared for a few days, didn’t she?

SDM, when you make an intelligent observation or state a positive thought-provoking point of view, I applaud you! When you don’t, (uhh,mumble, fidget….) I don’t. You keep the score; I don’t!

Oddly enough, I’ve been seeing the Staton strips in color since Day One, and they work so well that way, I actually forgot all about black and white. Is there a venue where they show up that way? Now I feel like comparing.

LOL!!!^^Actually, SDM, if you look carefully , you can see Dick’s hat and raincoat hanging on a coatrack in the background… colourist’s error here, in the first panel, he’s putting on the suit jacket

What’s really kind of unrealistic is in a real abduction case of this magnitude, there’d be massive amounts of law enforcement involved storming the area…….Abner’s doomed now……whereas if he had phoned Tracy privately and warned him to come alone and tell no one, or else…..

Hey, just realized…Kadaver CAN kill one, just to show he’s serious, then bargain with the other…..not that that’s likely to happen, but….

……just know Rikki’s gonna bite the dust though….she takes way too much pleasure in all of this….

actually, maybe Timmy made an unflattering comment about Abner, and paid the price, lol.
