JUDGE PARKER: Sophie may be thinking about a little blue convertible, but I’m thinking the ending of the kidnapping story was a letdown to the readers. Hey, it’s a comic strip and there could have been a little drama and show & tell at the end instead of just a couple of strips with “talking heads” – an anticlimax. MARK TRAIL: The planned burglary has turned into a robbery. PHANTOM: @ woodworker – I was wondering about that (whether the Python is going to play a part in this arc).
Phantom – To anyone who has more knowledge of this strip: How would this be a betrayal of Phantom? Mark Trail – Florchi is right; evidence that a lot of criminals don’t think rationally, or consider the consequences.A3G – It’s all out there now. What will they do about it?About Lu Ann’s comment: We often do beat up on ourselves too long, but at this point, Marty is right to feel bad about it and should suffer some consequences.Mary Worth – Ken’s pain is his feeling of loss now that he can no longer sing. Mary will no doubt help him find another avenue for his creativity. But will there be a romance? Will she mention Jeff? I’ve known of people who had a long-term relationship, then up and married someone else.

Mary Worth: He wants to see Mary again but his face in the last panel looks like he is in pain.
