I for one feel like enjoying the ensemble cast’s cast’s antics.

I don’t know if that answer is good enough for a colection but at least it’s short, sweet, to the point and hopefully sincere.

I used to dress like Rita, I had my fifteen minutes as Carolina, I was as geek as Roy, and I kept things together like Dana. That job was a long time ago, but I still enjoy this strip, it rings too close to home some days.

Why?I worked x-mas eve 2200-0600 and x-mas night 1800-0600 to support our overseas personnel. They listen to record everything I do and say, so a book would be almost privacy in my world. Also the reason I cannot post to facespace as it is blocked here. :)

Worked 25-years for the U.S. Postal Service. Working Daze has nothing on my co-workers. Only place where I could show up on Christmas day, get paid double time and a half to sit and read a book. Sometimes I wish I hadn’t retired.

I’m like Dana with a little Carolina in the mix, and am married to a man with traits of Jay and Roy…lol…but we try our best to keep things fun in our lives. Don’t like to put a sob story here to sway the vote in my favour, so let’s just say, i love the strip and would hope to be elligible for a copy of the book.

I wish my coworkers were more like the characters in WD!!! You’d think an I T shop/office would have folks with imaginations but I’m the only one there who seems to enjoy this type of stuff!!

I really happy this Christmas because my mother came back from the hospital alive again. 3 hospital stays in 2 years time and she is still a trooper.

My wife an I delivered Christmas to 17 kids this year who would otherwise not have had anything under the tree. This is down from last year when we did 42, when we teamed up with a local car club and decorated our vehices with Christmas lights and paraded all through two counties like gas-powered Santas, delivering joy. Everyone can help in a small local way….the kids who need the most are the ones who will light up your life!

Because I survived 36 years teaching 13 year old 8th graders and started my Middle School’s IT department from 5 Apple IIE’s to 250 Pentium’s with smart boards in 20 classrooms when I retired in 2009.

I normally don’t say anything about my Salvation Army work, but that book would be a nice addition to my library. Helped with counting kettles from bell ringing, sorted toys from the Angel Tree, worked on the community dinners all bell season so someone else could ring bells. And bought my better half a super cool gift that matches our decor and made sure Mom had a wonderful, not alone, Christmas Eve. No don’t do facebook.

When I read Working Daze I see many of the people there at my work and at all the work places I have been. The Sexy woman everyone wants. the Secretary who not so secretly wields all the power and makes her not so great boss look good. The IT guy that knows more than anyone would suspect. I love them all. Do I deserve to have a book? Well, I can’t really say, but, I sure would love it to keep all your memories and all my memories of our crazy work places near and dear.Joseph

The reason I deserve a Working Daze book is because I toil almost every day without compensation dishing out workplace advice via Evil Skippy at Work (www.evilskippyatwork.com). The Working Daze gang would love it.

I’ve got to side with Redkaycei Repoc. I am no more deserving of the book than anyone else here. We all have ‘stuff’ to deal with, and for me this year was daunting. I had both hips replaced within three months. I was off work for nearly two months total, and am still recovering. I can’t lift anything worth a darn yet, but I sure do walk better.…Tomorrow I will turn forty-nine years old. I will celebrate by working and maybe having a Santa shake (peppermint ice cream and egg nog). I am so thankful I can still work. …I don’t think I am any more deserving than others. A whole plethora of folks have had it tougher than I did this year. It’s just been a loooonng year, and I am glad that 2014 is right around the corner.

Deserve? Interesting choice of word. But “Hardly Working?” Thanks to budget inactivity and sequestration, my job disappeared six months ago; and despite what the government propagandists want you to believe, the economy is completely and totally in the tank. Since June, only one of my applications has provoked a response, and that was, “Thanks, but no thanks.” So if that’s worth a book to you, John, I’ll be happy to accept.

Unfortunately, I don’t have a Facebook account. But, maybe this could be something. Sell one of the books on e-bay and donate the money to a local animal shelter. The unwanted pets would like a little Christmas gift of some more food or maybe being fixed so that someone could adopt them for free.

Frankly, I think bbear deserves one. Anyone who can do that many years of teaching with kids of that age, is a hero in my book.

I’ve always been a fan of off-center comic strips, having grown up on Bloom County and The Far Side and gradutaing to Pearls Before Swine and Get Fuzzy. I’m glad I found this one here because, even though I don’t work in an office, it has that geeky sense of humor I love and try to incorperate into my comic that I’m developing. And if I don’t win the book, let me know where I can order it.

Well, Merry Christmas because it isn’t over, it just began! Christmas is a season in the liturgical calendar and runs from 25 December to 5 January (Twelth Night) – as in the 12 Days of Christmas. So Merry Christmas!

Why? In a single word “backgrounds” – I used to work at Disney and I love the way the surrounding area (shopping centers etc) get integrated, through the windows – into the strip live… Hilarious! Now that I am stuck in a frozen wasteland I live for any and every ability to glimpse the good ’ol times out the windows of MMM !

Let alone the fact that the characters live for STAR TREK*, yet incorporate every other genre, the strip would survive on its own merits without the the roleplays, comic con sideswipes and flights of fancy into other realms!

It is the modern version of PEANUTS* you can relate to everything done herein and see yourself in some of the panels so sit back and enjoy – don’t overthink and just relax. Book or no book offer – I have said it before – Thanks guys.
