He’s not trying to find out about the weather on The Weather Channel, is he? You’ll never find it there. They don’t really do weather anymore. Just programming, about mountain climbing or something….Ever try to find music on MTV? How about headlines on Headline News…..And why did the T-Bird sports car become so huge? Sorry, I’ll go away now,,,,
The “Commercial Channel” aka “Whether Channel” has been off my menu since I found the radar.weather.gov website and intellicast.com.I ain’t interested in Storm Stories, Mountain climbing, Jungle traipses or some damfool rescuing himself from the tragedy of the century, The WC and I go back to the days when it was on Big Ugly Dish Satellite (unscrambled) and its only sponsor was Michelin tires.
see the holidays are about over and it’s been so nice and quite without having to deal with family or friends. it’s like their kid Gene and his family have never existed not to mention Arlo or Janis’s mom or dad or siblings. just sit on the couch watching TV. who could ask for a better life.
I keep my car radio on the news station. After the sports, entertainment, business, weather… you’re lucky to get one hard news headline every half-hour!
@NightGaunt@Boise Ed@harmgbAfter 30 years in Radar systems and the Satellite biz, I’vesettled on what comes easiest. And I s’pose I COULD watch the weather on my NetBook whilst in the WC, but that would be carrying things way too far !! See you all next year !
“Local on the 8’s” means that they are going to give temperatures at 8 min. past the hour, 18 past, 28, 38, 48, and 58 past, as I recall. Haven’t watched that recently.
