I’ve never understood why boys’/men’s bikes still have the horizontal bar across the top. I know that girls’/women’s bikes were originally designed for riders wearing long skirts, but it just seems more, uh, practical for everyone not to have a nether region-crunching pole in close proximity to the aforesaid nether regions.
It’s a freakin’ sin that any child should have to worry about locking their bike. I think I was about 17 before it ever occurred to me that someone might want to steal it. Having to take the time to lock and unlock a bike is a real nuisance, especially when you just want to get out of the heat.

I can sympathize. I didn’t learn to ride a bike until I was 12.

Some people suppose that “Frazz” is Calvin grown up. I had suspected so, until today when I remembered how much trouble Calvin had with bicycles.
