Sounds like the ideal father/daughter relationship…

(No, I don’t have any daughters.)

And if your very, very lucky, that mellows and changes, maybe six months after the move-out.

How old is ‘junior year’? I’ve never been clear about the US education nomenclature.

My birthday is in June so I graduated from high School a week or so before my 18th birthday. i.e. 11th grade = junior year = 17 years old for me. You’re results may vary!

My birthday fell on just after the cutoff date for first grade in my town. So, if I had been born 9 hours earlier, I would have graduated a year earlier. Made me the oldest in the class, except for ones who had been held back. Graduated at 18 1/2.

I know it’s been a while, but it was sad when Sam got the jaded adult eyes. She used to be wide eyed like Boopsie.

Night-Gaunt49. Oskar Shindler was a member of the Nazi Party but does not meet your definition. You are being too narrow minded, not unlike many Nazi types. Please consider.

I graduated from high school at 17 and from college at 20. I wouldn’t recommend going that route.

“People are free not to be influenced by a tv show. I blame them for their attitudes.”-People are free to make cultural references, knowing all normal people will understand the reference. Personally, I never watched Seinfeld, but have heard the reference enough to get a fair idea.

“If you don’t kill people and wish to set up some totalitarian uniform wearing Reich then you ain’t a NAZI. You are boorish and insular but not NAZI. Learn and practice what “etiquette” is.”-Or netiqueutte, etiquette over the Intenet-

“the rules and conventions governing correct or polite behavior in society in general or in a specific social or professional group or situation“ Miss Manners describes it as guidelines to make others comfortable, not rules to force others to behave a certain way.-We all fall a wee bit short at times, especially when we call others bad names. When a person calls himself a Grammar Nazi, he is obviously sharing with another the fact that some usages poke at his psyche enough to elicit a response. -Personally, I let most go but respond to enough to bug several and have been bugged by people mistakenly trying to correct what I had correct in the first place, but then I am socially awkward and shy.

The written language could use some tweaking. Many misspellings make folks look ignorant. It hurts their feelings if they are corrected, so perhaps we could correct the language to agree with the overwhelming there/they’re/their, lay/lie, you’re/your type errors..We should be the bigger men, not acting like that group who wanted to kill everybody not JUST LIKE THEM?.Ha! A little joke there, pretending like there was JUST ONE group like that through history.
