lol. This is what I’ve been complaining about, about the Republicans, for, oh let me see, 12 years now?Would have been nice if they had obsessed on Tora Bora in 2002 as much as ‘benghazibenghazi’. Nice if a Republican – any Republican – had raised a voice in opposition – even one – to the Obama surge in 2009 . . .
And it’s a good war how? What have we gained? What have the Afghanis gained? What difference will there be when we finally pack up and go home (I hope soon)?
We survived 8 years of Dubya, although many of us were doubtful. I am sure we can survive 8 years of Obama.
And as to blaming liberals: Republicans are as much to blame for Obama’s election. John McCain? Sarah Palin? Mitt Romney? If they had run a viable candidate, perhaps a far different scenario would be playing out now; many liberals did not vote for Obama, they voted against the Republicans.
Other than going after the camps in the north, with drones, etc, and getting bin Laden, nothing about “war” on Afghanistan, and an invasion with boots on the ground, was EVER a “good war”, period…
The National Guard deserter in chief never did anything right, but leave the White House.
