I agree Gweedo.Bad hair cuts and silly costumes? He could be describing most of the video games he plays!

Ridiculous. Show me two better sci-fi/ fantasy movies than Star Wars & Empire Strikes Back. They are still amazing!

Hey, I’ll take those “outdated special effects” over the crappy CGI stuff they use nowadays.

HEY! We watched movies with bad special effects, cheesy costumes, makeup and hairstyles, we saw them projected in 2D….

    ….and we LIKED it, sonny!

I was recently watching the first 3 Star War movies (episode 4, 5 and 6)and the first thing I noticed was the amazing special effects created in the year 1977. No movie ever had that kind of technology before and even after.

And the dialog was so awful. I don’t know how the actors choked it down, but it was still a wonderful set of movies.

Yes, spot on! Thank you, @CARAPORAM, @JoPhan! I was so proud of my 9yo DD for recognizing how much better, both visually and in plot, IV-V-VI was to the prequels.

You’re a little short for a stormtrooper. .G’Kar and Londo – born enemies. Always enemies. Forever friends. …beware of Shadows. They move.

Warp 5 Mr Sulu. .don’t need the special F/x – just need a really good story..just ask Rod Serling, Asimov, A. C. Clark, Heinlein, Bradury.
