I think he was a tacked.

Looks like somebody got him really hammered, and nailed him.

The cops are trying to get a handle on the situation…but they might be on the wrong tack.

He got pounded.

You don’t need a licence to carry a nailgun, but they are real killers.

Arrest the lead detective. He hit the nail on the head.

How do they walk around? I don’t see any little feet or anything. Perplexing.

There’s something screwy about this case, but I just can’t pin it down.

I saw a cartoon MANY years ago where a bunch of cops were standing around a table with an arm sticking out of an old meat grinder with the hand on the handle and a big pile of ground meat on the floor.

One cop said to the others, “Most determined case of suicide I ever saw!”

Parisi is off his meds and trying to claw his way to the top of comicdom.

I’m afraid they are boxed in because they are too common and will never have this case finished. As one hammer said to the other hammer, “I hate people with dirty nails.”
