There are lies, damned lies, statistics, and Obamacare number.

At least Democrats get mixed up over HUGE numbers. The GOP thinks “4 dead Americans in Benghazi” is more than “4,489 dead Americans in Iraq.”

Even one American life lost is of great concern. It is the lying about why it occurred that is very bothersome. The best evidence regarding Iraq was presented and everyone agreed on the military actions. Only when it was discovered that WMDs were moved or faked did spineless politicians start rewinding their vote. Lying about why 4 Americans were attacked to maintain your political power is despicable and spineless. Trying to cover it up is deplorable.

Honestly, I’ve never understood the vitriol coming from the GOP on Obamacare. It used to be that if you could convince your political opponent to abandon what their base would have preferred in implementing a major policy initiative (single-payer healthcare) and instead go with a market-based solution that entrenches the established health care insurance companies that came out of the Heritage Foundation (not known for their liberal views), and then first implemented by a Republican governor in a blue state….well, we used to call that a VICTORY in politics.

Instead, Obamacare seems to be tied into our reflexive political noise machine. Obama for it? Then it must be awful. If the Bush administration had proposed this way back when, would mainstream GOPers have opposed it? Not likely. It’s all about who is backing it, not the merits of the policy.

Hey TJDestry: the government did not lie about Iraq. But when you have an extreme left winger in the White House the lies must flow to reach the statist’s goals.

    “Isn’t that number, um, wrong?”

    No. It isn’t.

Obamacare is not immune to criticism, but seriously, just straight up denying basic facts?

This is just getting silly. Stantis is smarter than this. Resorting to denying basic facts is a bad look, one more typical of brainless rightwingers than someone like Stantis, who has a strong independent-minded streak.
