Protecting the world isn’t probably the best use of money, but it does reduce the cost of international commerce, from which we actually do benefit. So does the rest of the world, but I don’t think that they actually appreciate it much.
Is it so wrong to just want to stop govt waste?Stop creating more bureaucratic “studies” of baloney that we don’t need, and cut all expenses across the board by 10%. Remove the automatic increases built into congress. Keep it going for 10 years, and the debt will be reduced. Cut all congressional (Rep and Sen) offices to 2 aides—-1 secretary/receptionist and 1 “gofer”. Let the lazy so-and-so’s read the bills THEMSELVES that is what THEY get paid to do!
