Boog is Goob backwards! I wonder if he was named after Goober of Andy Griffith fame?

    Then don’t read it.

On another note, I’ve never heard of schools doing makeup days for snow days.

I see how that would specifically appeal to you.

I believe due to snow days in KS schools days extended longer last day is tomorrow 22nd. A different small town school for missed days extended the end of each school day by 5 minutes to make up for missed days.

Boog is short for Boogie, which was either a name or nickname. What would you expect for a son of Rover? Gasoline Alley is located in the South, possibly in the Carolinas, where school is closed when the weather report says it might snow or sleet. I have seen snow days for schools where not one flake fell. I have suggested a uniform for school administrators here, but they so far have not adopted one. The uniform I suggested would be a blazer of any color of choice or even a nice shirt of any color. What would make it a uniform would be the big yellow stripe down the back. A logo depicting a chicken might also be possible. Of course, they should wear boots so they can quake in their boots at the mere mention of snow or wintery mi.
