I have had dogs that loved their squeaky toys. My current Corgi-mix is just the opposite. If it squeaks, it dies.
Dead on. I sometimes have to stop my dog from squeaking for a few minutes. He gladly stops for a belly rub. :)

Our dogs at the animal rescue destroy squeaky toys in a matter of minutes. Jake our handsome brown pit bull holds the record. Squeaky toy totally ripped apart in 30 seconds. But he’s such a sweetheart.
