Sure, let someone dump their kid on you and then punish your kids! Elly, get a grip!

Michael, hasn’t there been enough chaos for one day?

My older daughter’s bedtime is 8:30. She is IN BED at 8:30. She will read, write in her diary, talk to her stuffies…but she’s IN BED. I’m totally OK with that. (My younger daughter is in bed at 8:30 and usually fast asleep by 8:45.)

Well, looks like he was right, though…

    Lynn’s Notes:

My philosophy was, “I don’t care if you sleep or not, just go to bed and be quiet.” A light on was okay, books and toys were okay. It seemed to me that an hour was all it took for the offspring to weary and crash!

A boy after my own heart. I remember being sent to my room as a 6-year-old (probably for something I said) and my dad telling me “Don’t come out this door.” Taking him at his word, more or less, I removed the screen off the window and went out that way instead. It didn’t go over very well.

I used to babysit for a couple of little boys. They wanted to stay up til their parent came home which I knew was gonna be way after midnight. So I told ‘em, just get in bed. You don’t have to go to sleep, just lay there quietly and when you hear your folks come in, you can get up…… Of course, they were always sound asleep by then.

Daddy’s in a bad mood so the kids have to go to bed — I don’t think so. Let Daddy go to bed and sulk. The kids didn’t do anything wrong.

This is way too funny. If it was up to me the kid could of made in his pants and stink up the place. Then when Annie comes to pick him up she will think twice about letting someone look after he child.
