When the winter rains start in the Cape Evie will be glad to go home to the summer in the northern hemisphere. Cape Town is freezing in the winter. Evie will need to visit Kwa-Zulu Natal for beautiful sunny skies and warm sunshine. On Sunday it was so hot we had the fans on, children were swimming and people were all having a braaivleis [barbecue] in their gardens. My daughter, who lives in the Cape, said it was raining and very cold. She had fur-lined boots on, three shirts and a thick jacket.

It seems that Evie is always going to visit Arnold (who pays the airfare, etc?). Arnold has never taken the time to visit Evie at her home. Becareful with this one Evie, it looks like it is a one way street – his!.

Evie won’t want to miss seeing the grandkids grow up. They are only young a short time.
